Fitzroy's a bit of a hike from the Showgrounds, though.

Agreed on the distance, Public transport is easymode from SG though..

Right now *I* can't afford a plane ticket to the US, so I'm figuring wherever Aux is, it's not exactly cheap to get to Australia.

Yea, it is not any better on the reverse route either. From Pittsburgh International to Sydney is around $2000 for a round trip flight. Add in for passports, hotel fees, entertainment, transport, etc... It gets expensive real quick.

A vacation to AUS is on my list of things to do, but it has been there for many years. I am sure it will remain on the list for many years to come as well, sadly.

Would love for GGG to find a reason to come around my way, but not much happens worth a shit in Pennsylvania.

It's being discussed, but it's an expensive trip so there would need to be a lot of journalism lined up. We're still working out whether that's +EV.
