Is it okay to sell items for money?
I was talking with my friend about what we would do if one of us would find a mirror of kassandra. I mean on [Mod Edit: Removed] you would pay 500€ on anarchy for one.
Selling one for real money would be a pretty nice idea :D How are the rules on this. Is it allowed to sell items for real money? Is it ok? Last edited by Henry_GGG on Jul 7, 2013, 2:10:26 PM

when has this ever been "yes"?
of course it's not ok. people will still do it, and people will still (rightfully) get banned if they get caught at it. |

Diablo III's real money auction house started this shit. And, no, it will never be okay.

d3's RMAH just made it more mainstream.
it got popularized in the late 90s on ebay. it's not going anywhere anytime soon... it makes too much money for some people. sucks for devs too... totally exploitative to make cash off their hard labor. |

I don't mean starting it as in STARTING IT so much as what you said: it made it mainstream and 'legal'...which has done nothing good. Nothing good at all.

" I wish I could say that your question is dumb, but unfortunely given the fact that D3's Real Money Auction House exists, I would have to say that your question is valid :(. This message was delivered by GGG defence force. Last edited by Totemizer#0490 on Jul 7, 2013, 12:35:22 PM

In addition to all the replies, it should be pointed out that if you get caught selling anything, your account will be banned (pretty sure, but not GGG so I can't say positively). So I would strongly recommend not selling anything you find for money.
