Guess I'll have to be that guy. Kripparian is the best player because:

1. He brought a ton of players into the game with free publicity, contributing more than any other player out there (only Charan and the wiki manager come close).

2. He is the season 1 champ, so he's a very skilled player.

3. He's one of the wealthiest HC players.

I'll disagree, not for the sake of Kripp being Kripp but that grouping with other players makes this game considerably easier.

Playing Solo + Selfound/Selfcrafting is the ultimate challenge.

His performance in solo races in no different than in group races. What are you basing your comment on?
Whoever has the best gear.

Have you watched him play solo? He's no slouch. I have no doubt he would succeed with any play style in this game. I don't think people can honestly say he's unskilled in POE.

Fine, I'll also respond to your edit.

Wrong!

Playing with a live lobster in your pants is an even greater challenge.

However I fail to see why you would want to rank people who intentionally handicap themselves as better overall when they clearly accomplish less with respect to wealth and season ladder.

I vote RNG for position 1, that dude just keeps me comming back to the game.

And kripp lost every battle vs RNG so clearly we have a winner.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

I didn't state he was unskilled, he's a very good player. It is however, much easier to group play and be a part of a team that continues to trade with each other on the items they find. Or having viewers just give gear during races.

And if we're comparing against solo racing, Panda was pretty much unbeatable when he raced.

Now you show that you are just making shit up.

Kripp never accepts free stuff, EVER. Not during races, not outside races. It's his #1 rule.

I have most definitely seen Kripp accept stuff for free from the people he plays with. Watch his channel more. You sound like a fanboy.

Regardless, this wasn't a discussion against Kripp. I merely made the statement that solo/self-found is the only way to go.
