Spell/attack hybrid builds?

I took a few lightning damage nodes on a LS shadow build and used a spark totem with him for support, also picking up spell power and doom cast as both were right next to the nodes I was taking for crit and daggers.

But then after the release respec, I changed him to an EK shadow, because both my other melee shadows could already use LS very well with just physical nodes.

It's doable... or at least you can try if you are rich.
You need 2 main thing:
- 6L staff with good hybrid rolls... something like spell dmg, crit and attack speed
- high crit build. Easy doable as 2-hand staff templar
- cast on crit linked to some spell

We have few builds which work that way already.
