when i started poe i tried chance orbs on pots expecting for a rare.
such a big deal for 4.8 seconds of high armour... it is powerful but its definetly not something you can keep spamming. Crit builds can do it with surgerons but think that they had to invest passives and gear to get a good enough crit to make it "constant".
If it got removed i would just combine it with a jade flask with iron skin and the granite flask with increased evasion. works really well with and without iron reflexes.
Implying people won't just roll Granites with adrenaline and Quicksilvers with iron skin and pop them at the same time.

You also havent given a real reason as to why these mods existing is actually a bad thing. It makes it so there is at least a bit of flask progression with these flasks.

I like it how we are nerfing stuff based on popularity.

It's a potion, you have 2 abilities on your potion. Not every single decision has to be a super important life changing decisions, if the potions didn't have any abilities on them you would be trying to nerf them because everyone uses granite/jade flasks based on popularity.

The flask aren't as op because there are many other mods that people want on their flash, and other different types of flash such as the elemental resists flash that you can use.
iron skin IS a braindead choice. people confuse 'braindead' with 'popular'.

iron skin and its evasion equivalent trivialize armor management. for a price of having it up constantly you have a combo that can bring armor from 230 to 12000 with two clicks.

iron skin mod makes taking armor nodes a waste of points.. esp that life/armor variant near marauder. people take it just because 0.4 regen is even worse (if not RF)

Popular choice is usually braindead because you know it's already good, It requires no actual thinking on your part that crown of eyes + shav or kaom's heart is good. They are popular because they are already powerful.

And why is this a problem? Do mana potions trivialize mana management or health potions trivialize the life regen stat? Do elemental resists pots trivialize elemental damage? Do all of the other effects trivialize being stunned/frozen/cursed/shock/ect.

Every single potion is powerful on it's own, potions are suppose to give you powerful effects for using them. In exchange you only have 5 slots and can't choose all of them.

Not every single choice in this game has to be a build defining, super important decision. Out of everything we are possibly focusing on, focusing on potions affixs is so incredibility catty.

Also why would the iron skin mod making Armour a waste of a stat, I'm sure people love stacking Armour and the 0.4 regen is shit anyway expect for RF.

Jade and Granite flasks needs imho to be on the same timer so that people can't use IR + jade + granite + 80% armour increase + 80%evasion increase from the flask's mods, because this combination really is a nobrainer.

But I don't think that granite flask of iron skin alone needs to be nerfed.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
