Granite Flask Of Ironskin & Quicksilver Flask Of Adrenaline
|
I play crit builds so every flask prefix is surgeon's.
This limits diversity, remove from game plz. See OP, it looks like retarded suggestion from the outside, right? |
|
" That's because it is a stupid suggestion. His premise is that everyone absolutely has to have the Iron Skin prefix on a Granite Flask. Clearly not the case as people often use Warding, Stauching, Reflexes and Resistance on theirs. |

I prefer Quicksilver flasks of staunching over adrenaline except when I really really need that running speed (i.e. when I play my dual lightning warp totem witch - which I don't do anymore since it was only a fun character).
As for the granite flask of iron skin - yeah, seems like the optimal flask; however, as people said, they DO use other flasks as well. Bird lover of Wraeclast

" Like I said previously, remove iron skin suffix from granites and you can still pop a health pot of iron skin while your granite is active. This solves nothing. [Removed] Last edited by Bex_GGG#0000 on Jul 1, 2013, 5:34:29 PM

" Oh, you mean running another flask with a suboptimal roll to get the most out of your granite flask? Combining flask mods? Actually thinking about your flask configurations? Golly, that sounds just downright awful! Look, the fact is that virtually nobody running just one Granite will run anything other than Ample, Perpetual, or Surgeons of Iron Skin. Why? Because the Iron Skin mod is insanely overpowered - it's the difference between doubling your armor and quadrupling it. Adrenaline on quicksilvers isn't quite as extreme, but seriously - Granite of Iron Skin has got to go. Luna's Blackguards - a guild of bronies - is now recruiting! If you're a fan of our favourite chromatic marshmallow equines, hit me up with an add or whisper, and I'll invite you!

" So you can just pop a health flask with your granite eh? So you go into every battle with some life lost do you? Your health pots last 4s before they heal you do they? You don't use other suffix' on your health flasks do you? Having to combo 2 flasks with 4 mods is the same as having 1 is it? You really live up to your name. Calling people retarded when what you are saying is just exactly that, it's like you never even played the game before. |

Fine, saturated flask of iron skin or on a utility flask. <3 you long time armour bonus.
[Removed] [edit] And I seldom use health flasks tbh. Waste of space for most of my builds. I prefer to run with 2-3 of these 1-2 granites and a mana if needed. Resistance flasks subbed in when required. Last edited by Bex_GGG#0000 on Jul 1, 2013, 5:33:47 PM

The fact that every one of your flasks is either an adrenaline or ironskin just goes to prove my point, thanks. Keep on herpa derpin', you are good at it.

I run 2 granites on my main, only 1 has ironskin.
Anyway, this sort of balancing leads to a game where everything sucks. Having gear/mods/etc that are generally the first choice for most mainstream builds is fine as long as theyre not absolutely 100% best for everyone no matter what. IGN: KoTao

" Granite of Ironskin is "absolutely 100% best for everyone no matter what". If people are scared that they ar going to lose the extra armour then maybe GGG could retrun the granites to pre-patch. God knows why they thought nerfing the base & not taking care of this issue was a good idea. Like someone else said "it is the illusion of choice". |
