i got 512 mb and i run the game on a laptop with no graphics card. problem isnt the game. you run on too high specs.

i run with quailty=5 and it still takes 3 mins to load up the login, ~3-7 mins to get to another area and then i crash and go back to login. sometimes it just freezes up.

A RAM disk will not help in your situation. RAMdisk is for when you have excess ram and want to speed things up. Ready boost may help if you get a fast (Decent quality) usb flash drive, although it generally works better with USB 3.0 and I am guessing your computer does not support that.
Other things you can try is, stop all running processes and services on your computer that are not required. This will need some knowledge of windows and/or google skills.
Ensure your windows page file is large enough (In your situation I would set it to min 4- max 8GB) and if possible locate your page file on a separate drive from where windows/POE is installed if you have more than one physical hard drive.
Update drivers for your everything.
Set every option in POE to low, you can edit the POE config file manually and set the render quality even lower than the game supports, this may help you.

I see you are running windows Vista.... don't. If you must, disable User Account Control and update everything. But really consider getting windows 7, or even windows XP. Just not Vista.... Vista is a resource hog and is slowing down things more than anything else on your PC.

And er... Get more RAM. Seriously, look on your local second hand online marketplace, ebay, somewhere... guessing you would be using DDR2. You can probably pick up 2 x 2GB sticks of RAM for $20 second hand.
Your game is gonna look like mud...

no joke.

where can i download more ram ?

Here.

Enjoy your new RAM!
I am surprised when people have such low RAM, especially since quality RAM is absolutely dirt cheap nowadays. I can only assume you just have a much older motherboard that can't support the higher quantities.
