i'll admit it -- i'd prefer to stare at a reasonable facsimile of the female form for 100 hours, rather than the templar's legs. too bad templar is my favorite class so far lol

Interesting word, pervert. As a verb, it's much less direct in definition than as a noun. To pervert something is to corrupt it, turn it away from what is good and proper. To debase it. There's no real 'sexual' connotation there.
But as a noun, a 'pervert' is someone who is specifically into sexual perversion, which in turn is 'abnormal' or 'deviant'. I'm not sure that applies to male players who like to have attractive female characters *unless* they get some sort of sexual pleasure out of it. Most times I would argue it's simply a case of aesthetic preference. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

diablo 3 is more suited to this playstyle
