Iron Reflexes for CI user?

Hey guys,

Another semi-related question. If you go a similar build to this guy is talking (CI and IR) would getting the ES hybrid nodes (Body and Soul, Nullification) stack armor, or would they not stack like leather and steel nodes? Obviously, the ES would stack, but would the defensive stats apply separately? This takes you ALL over the skill tree, and might not be worth it, but I'm curious. Thanks!

I'm not sure if Darkscorn is worth losing 50% DPS over Lioneye's. A 4L Lioneye's would probably win against a 5-6L Darkscorn.

Can a Darkscorn archer do enough damage to run high level maps?

The damage on Darkscorn is meh...should raise it by some to be able to compete even just a little with any other physical bow.
Just study Helmann's CI Cyclone duelist with IR. Rank 18 in Onslaught.

lets compare a 3 chaos bow with a 10 exalt one really ?

btw id prefer to be able to take more hits than to do more dmg and 25% reduction is alot

This.

Add a few armor nodes (like the ones next to unwavering stance) and you've got quite a bit of armor. With a granite you're practically a tank.

Not sure how you are running those auras, at least with the 3 "must have" auras for any CI character that I think of (Purity/Discipline/Clarity). Granted, Clarity depends on what you want, but for an endgame build that can survive, especially CI, I don't see how you'd neglect Discipline and Purity.

Granted, maybe you are thinking you can run 5 auras on mana alone, I was not certain if this is possible or not. Obviously it is possible running a Low Life build, but this is CI so...

Please correct me anywhere that I am wrong.

All I'm going to say is try it out, if it works out awesome. Make a class and I will also try it out again. When I was using Darkscorn CI it wasn't pumping out too much damage. I also had no armor, so the 25% reduction wasn't too helpful at the time. Maybe with Grace, Determination and Iron Reflexes it would have been different, but right now I don't have the patience to try it again :).

If I recall I wasn't running Purity, which let me run Determination. I think the auras I was running were Discipline, Grace, Clarity and Determination? I could be remembering wrong but I did have to take some +% max mana passives and some reduced mana reservation to run them.

If your resists are bad, you could possibly drop Determination and use Purity till your resists are good enough.
