Iron Reflexes for CI user?
Hey, I was discussion with my friend. I said that iron reflexes is worthless for CI user since the gear mainly uses energy shield and no armor and evasion ..
He said that through dex and different evasion notes the passiv is still viable We are currently somewhere in mid game, so we don´t know how it will work out for endgame stuff, but can anyone tell us who is right? and also if CI uses no armor reduction, how can they reduce physical dmg? or does a CI user use partyl armor and evasion stuff? Many thanks Last edited by Mephos#5584 on Jun 15, 2013, 1:25:39 PM

your friend is right
why ? eva/es gear is amazing after you spec iron reflex iron reflex solves a big problem ci user have thats low armor there is a famous build out there using darkscorn and ci resulting in a really good ranger tank on top of that you are really close to vaal pact and ghostreaver https://poe-ssf.herokuapp.com/. evasion/energy shield gear? I don´t know the game as good, but I only have seen armor/evasion (chain) .. but if there is evasion/energy shield it makes more sense to have that passiv.
I started in the shadow tree, so you say iron reflexes is worth the 20 points down? I want to go for CI after level 50-60 when I have enough gear collected and enough notes, currently I play a live based build, but want to respec. |

Grace+Determination+Iron Reflexes = Enough armour with no armor gear on a CI character.

" This. Add a few armor nodes (like the ones next to unwavering stance) and you've got quite a bit of armor. With a granite you're practically a tank. |

Not to mention the ES+Evasion nodes up in the Shadow tree that you should probably grab. Or if you're not that close, the hybrid ES+Armor nodes on the other side of the tree are a pretty good alternative.
To recap: Grace Determination Granite Flasks (Try to get Flasks of Iron Skin or Reflexes, that's even more armor) Inner Force (optional, but it boosts all of the above by 18%) Iron Reflexes (More dexterity = More armor) Hybrid ES+Evasion/ES+Armor nodes You can be pretty damn tanky on a CI character easily. I'm not sure if Darkscorn is worth losing 50% DPS over Lioneye's. A 4L Lioneye's would probably win against a 5-6L Darkscorn.
![]() Can a Darkscorn archer do enough damage to run high level maps? Brutus. Do you even sync? Last edited by AnnanFay#3468 on Jun 15, 2013, 3:26:08 PM
