6L is a Privilege not a Right!!!

This goes out to all the people who have wasted mountains of currency on 6 linking items.

Here is how it's done;

Step 1: Find or trade for, a nice piece of gear that you would like to socket with up to 6 links.
Step 2: Use jewellers orbs to acquire no less then 6 sockets.
Step 3: Use fusing orbs in HOPES that you get 6 links
Step 4: Here is the kicker, if you hit a 5-link STOP crafting, the item is complete, better luck at a 6 link next time.

The point is that having a six linked item is something that happens out of luck and if you roll a 5 link, you will suffer nothing but frustration if you push past that by spending currencies, and chances are you will spend more then what your 6 link item will be worth anyways.

Sorry to disappoint those who would like to think otherwise but the truth hurts sometimes.

It's all a matter of time. In a few months, 6Ls will be handed out to new players to make room in your stash. That's how these games work. Since items are never removed from Standard involuntarily, eventually everyone will have gear approaching the best in slot, and nothing else will be worth picking up to vendor.

The trick is stop while youre behind and be smart about simply buying the 6L instead of spending twice the currency to roll it.
