the devs like Final Fantasy?
maybe i chose the wrong words when i wrote
"the passive skilltree is pretty much the same as the general skilltree in ff10." it is of course not exactly the same. I already noticed right away that the passive skilltree of poe is way more complex. and im sure that its impossible to learn all passives at max level as it is possible in ff10 for each character. i was just talking about the obvious similarity. Death is our ultimate reward.. yet it is so unsatisfying.

Although the ff10's spheregrid seems linear, you could jump from sphere to non-connecting sphere, using certain, rare items.
So later on, the lvl4 locks do become somewhat trivial. The author did say the spheregrid is, in effect, linear because of these locks. Since the locks become trivial, and you can teleport back (or wherever), the spheregrid becomes a web again. Last edited by ac429#4687 on Aug 1, 2012, 12:49:19 PM

So long as I won't have to leave the game on with a rubberband around the X buttons farming vanish and luck spheres I don't mind the influence.
I lie, I'd love to farm vanish spheres and change the grid for all my characters, it would be an interesting mechanic. Something this game seems to be all about. |
