How can I acquire more Town Portals

Hi,
I been playing POE for little over week now and loving it. When I first started I noticed I got town portals all the time. Even when I started Anarchy I got a ton. I think a few days ago I was up to 32 from just drops. But last few days I haven't gotten any, and rarely do I get any scrolls of wisdom either. Did they ninja nerf drop rates on these? I am completely out of scrolls now and I don't really know how to acquire more. Is there any tips or tricks to getting more? |

if you have any armor scraps are whetstones, you can vendor them for 2 and 4 wisdom scrolls each respectively. when you have an abundance of windom scrolls, you can buy portal scrolls for 3 wisdom scrolls each.

Three Wisdoms gets you a Portal scroll from a vendor; also:
Sell 1 Armourer’s Scrap = 2 Scrolls of Wisdom Sell 1 Blacksmith’s Whetstone = 4 Scrolls of Wisdom Sell 1 Orb of Alteration = 4 Scrolls of Wisdom Sell 1 Orb of Transmutation = 4 Scrolls of Wisdom Collect 5 Scroll Fragments (automatic) "Experience is the best teacher,but there's only one seat in his classroom."

Vendoring a stack of these will give you 4 X 40 wisdom scrolls.
Thats the main source of wisdom scrolls, as transmutes really start to pile up later in game. You get transmutation shards (which in turn create transmutation orbs) by vendoring unidentified magical items. I never run out of portals though, so I dont know a useful recipe (3xwisdom for 1 portal is maybe a good deal). Having one of these also helps, but it's a rare item: EDIT: I would not vendor armor scraps or whetstones for wisdom scrolls, as they are always more useful than transmutation orbs. A lot of players will trade you 2 wisdom scrolls for 1 portal scroll if you ask in trade.

I've had to adjust what I pick up a few times to keep my stacks from depleting. You can't pick up everything and port back to town over and over. You have to economize.
