Binding /oos to a Key / Macro

yeah ive been trying to figure out a way to do this as well as i dont have a gaming keyboard either. after reading quite a few of the multiboxing threads ive come to the conclusion that a program like the one linked above could probally get you banned but i may be wrong on that. would love an ingame key bind for /oos and /itemlevel as well.
use auto hot key just google it. So many players including top 10 SC and HC ladders use it. Desync is just terrible and wont be fixed anytime soon so yeah i suggest using it.
I highly doubt GGG would ban based on macroing /oos, especially due to the harmful nature of desynch on melee classes paired with the ridiculous death penalty.

Would be nice to get somebody from GGG to comment on this thread to say "it's OK to macro /oos".

That's all I use it for; nothing else. And believe me, it makes a HUGE difference in gameplay with a melee toon.
All that and a bag of chips!

yes but how would they know if the macro is being used for just /oos and not other things like multiboxing or botting.....

i have no idea how this kind of thing works, but it seems like any 3rd party software is considered illegal except for the program that comes with razer mouses.

unless this is that program in which case i dont think its illegal to use it even in other games... thats what i recall .. maybe wrong though.
1) There is no reliable way to detect this type of macros.
2) Many games allow macros.
3) GGG has never explicitly stated this is not allowed.
4) Gameplay suffers horribly when /oos is not used and manually typing it is a pain
5) The ToS are really vague. (like most legalese)

Conclusion:

It will not get you banned.
Brutus. Do you even sync?
Just email support like what I did.

What support told me about having a script that loop a /oos command would strain the resource of the server. If such patterns are detected a first warning will be issued. And lastly if subsequent attempts to use such scripts would be followed by an account ban.

So if users are just using it occasionally to do a /oos once every few minutes I think it is just fine. Furthermore, it is hard for GGG's side to detect an abuse.

I'm using a non-gaming Logitech Keyboard, and would like to bind /oos to my F2 key. Granted I can download numerous 3rd party macro packages, I wanted to first find out what software other gamers are using to do this (I know many players are), and verify GGG won't have an issue with macroing just the /oos command.

do it in java, should take like 20lines

Can't you be banned for making a Macro, even if it is only for '/oos'?

You will not get banned for using an oos or a logout macro.

Out of sync, if want serious answer.
Smoother than Smooth.
If you use auto hotkey don't macro it into your attacking ability unless you're stupid.
