Adding new skills is a good use of dev time, but it's a big use of dev time. They overestimated the cost.

What has to understood is that it's not easy to make new skills that have to run perfectly (that is to say, no crashes, no bugs, no exploits, and doesn't cause desync), have good art/effects, are unique, are fun, and work with the various support gems. Plus, it's hard on the alpha realm, as we've gotta try and figure out how to test the stuff and make sure it's not borked. If we find too many issues too late, then that compounds some issues. I think it would be better for them to do 2 skills a month, rather than 4.

I think new skills are nice, but new map affixes are better. It's not entirely about making new content for rerollers; give some new content to non-reroll endgamers too.

Oh, and rebalancing map affixes is a good idea too.

I agree with this also. New skills are great but you have to look at what can benefit the most amount of people as well.
