What's the advantage of going life instead of CI as ragiing spirt's summoner other than obvious flask using?

What can I do against enemies that deal aoe damage ?
They always kill my entire army in seconds, even with all minion life nodes used.

Sceptre of God on normal was such a pain, I almost deleted my summoner... :(

- easier to gear/cheaper
- resistance to stun
- resistance to status effects
- easier mana regen/mana management

Your still early in the summmoner life. It is pretty hard in the beginning and I suggest using other skills to supplement your minions. SWT, searing bond, lmp freeze pulse, flame blast. Basically stuff with high base damage.

The same thing will happen at the very end game too. This is why i just completely ignored minion life. If they are going to die anyways whats the point of wasting nodes to make them live a couple seconds longer. I just want them to distract and tank for me.

Hello. Where can I learn the terms like 5L, CoH, etc? I still don't understand them.

Sorry, newbie here.

5L = five linked item, five sockets on a item all linked together

CoH = Curse on Hit

Overtime u read things and the acronyms will come to you lol =).

I come across a lot of summoners who run blood magic with 9 auras and they go with the 100% IIR boots, andvarius etc.

Why aren't we doing that ?
