You missed my point, you mentioned girls as "slaves" which is stupid and non-valid output. I like the filter effects but I'm not really a fan of the transparency. I think the red globe could be a bit darker, it actually seems brighter with your effect. The blue globe is perfect.

Very nice work! I have some suggestions though.
I think to provide better feedback info at a glance, the orb when full should be a very rich red/blue. As it depletes, it should slowly lose colour - that way people can tell without even needing to look at the numerical figures or the state of the line. It becomes more possible that way to keep track of your life through peripheral vision, instead of having to look away from your character

Mmmh you're very talented, but I don't like trasparency or maybe, in my opinion, it isn't the best for this game with its dramatic and raw atmosphere. The life's Orb must cotain blood not strawberry jam..
Sincerely I really like the current orbs..
However you've really improved the character screen..good job!

Looks good when full; when the health orb isn't full, it should look like a glass full of blood (kind of oozing down the sides).

Hi Guys,
Totally lost track of this thread and project. This was a quick test on what was possible with the dds files and how the game would react on the opacity levels.
This was a real quick test and concept. I may return when the game is fully out and build up a larger project.

I totally agree with AaGeOn, the resource orbs could look a bit better.
What I would also like to see:
- animated orbs (if possible),
- rework of the "upper border" when globes aren't full.
Here's a small screenshot I made.
In Diablo III, the resources within the orbs look like a liquid in a bottle; in PoE the resources are currently looking just like a bland texture. I hope you get what I mean.
It's just a minor "issue" but I think those small things make a game look more polished.

The UI is an old thingy and as it will be reworked/improved once GGG can get animations into it, further discussion won't get much atention from them, just saying.
