I've been watching/listening to the Krippstream from the relevant time-point (linked in the interview sticky I maintain on this board) and it's FULL of really good information. I keep laughing at some of the things Chris says (especially regarding TOG), and Ash proves time and again why he's a valued Alpha member -- really incisive queries, and I particularly resonated with the 'story' discussion.
I don't really watch it much -- I'm pretending it's a podcast, really, playing it in the background as I play (didn't get to play much this weekend!). If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

Its fun to see that even mighty Kripp has to fall back to the all powerful Fetid Pool Rhoas. We definitely need more levels like the Fetid Pool, and Im not saying it because I love that map or anything...

Breaking:
Kripp called D3 'boring' and he "falls asleep playing it". But not falling asleep playing POE. Better theorycrafting, and "you have to compare POE to the alternative (aka what we call TOG). Hoped Chris would chat to him to arrange a referral deal. His chatmate had unsuccessfully tried to coax Kripp to play some GW2 tomorrow, and Kripp brushed him off saying he'd rather play POE, and suddenly his chatmate starts to act like POE is the game to play, then disses off Kripp's followers to check out POE. Shortly after Chris joined the twitch.tv channel, Kripp's followers start to slobber over Chris, asking for keys. Hilarious! Watch the zombie-sheep start to suck up and follow whatever Kripp does. POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

Some of the people there are real scumbags, though. I saw one person say he subscribed to kripp so that he could participate in a subscriber only key giveaway so he didn't have to pay $10 to GGG, but instead $5 to kripp.
He won a key. |
