How to shock stack creatively with an EK build?

just curious, ive been wracking my brain looking into different ways off applying shock stacks to mobs while using primarily EK.

What would be the best support spells to shock effectively?

totem+spark or arc?

added lightning damage on EK with EE?

tempest shield with EE?

and other ideas out there?

totem with arc/faster casting/chain/elemental proliferation works well.

the spell itself does little damage, but spreads shocks super fast

Tbh you don't have to shock with EK build.Really.And you definitely won't ever do it successfully,accordind to naturally low cast speed of this skill.Just add fire dmg and run hatred.That's enough.
Tempest deals minor dmg so shock is impossible.Totam will shock just if you go "the witch path".Leave it.

Wrath does nothing to ek

how about a ranged totem with Los Angeles

it will require a bow then after summon it you can swap back to your EK main weapon

Coincidentally I just mentioned using Shock Nova to spread shocks in another thread here.

Since the quality bonus for Shock Nova is shock chance AND duration, since the base damage is high enough to shock consistently, and since the range meshes with EK extremely well, it would be my number 1 suggestion.

Run (high quality) Shock Nova + Elemental Proliferation + Increased AoE + (either quality added lightning for more shocks, or lightning penetration for more consistent shocks against lightning resistant enemies).

Awesome idea pneuma, I actually have a 17% qual shock nova ive just been searching for a use with one of my builds.

I wouldnt go down the added lightning damage road with ek, using the standard iron will, added fire, faster casting and some decent gear you can go over 9k dps x 10 projectiles, with faster projectiles you can hit enemies off the sides of the screen like an archer... Nothing you can shock stack is going to survive more than 2 hits, and you can virtually hit half the screen in 1 attack, its not worth nerfing your damage in order to shock stack once your gems are fully levelled.

Using a secondary skill is def the way to go imo.
