Endless loading sreen
|
There is an infinite loading issue with locations. After selecting a character, you can only load into your hideout. From there, it is impossible to travel to any other location—the loading screen is endless. This affects both portals and the Map Device.

my issue was similar. something was happening to the connection during loading, and even after loading finished, my ping kept rising forever.
in my case, the problem was a laptop on the network. it had something called 1.1.1.1 warp enabled. that turned out to be the cause. when it encrypted traffic, it created issues on wifi. just wanted to mention it in case someone else is using a similar program. VPN also helped. According to Client.txt, "Connecting to instance server at 67.58.99.69:21360" and "Connecting to instance server at 170.23.140.36:21360" were found. WinMRT once reported "35.158.223.209" as "ec2-35-158-223-209.eu-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com." Without VPN, it hangs for 20-30 minutes. With VPN, it works perfectly.
But I have to enable VPN for all sites; simply enabling "*.compute.amazonaws.com" doesn't help. A pool of IPs and names, which should be added to the VPN list, would be very helpful. |
