Looting -- The official thread for discussing the loot system. Updated 18th March, 2013.
" Trolls are needed to keep bitches like you in check. If it wasn`t for us so called `trolls` this game would have turned into D3 light a long time ago. |

" you know the worst part ? d3 brought more to the arpg genre than this diablo2 clone...yes d3 didn't do well in some implentations but still....you may fail if you try but you will fail if you dont' GGG is NOT trying AT ALL (2 months since OB and NOT a SINGLE answer for the fundamental flaws...not even an answer) we only get new useless skills When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself

Please add a robust loot filter that the player can adjust, so that the gear he sees as lootable in game is actually something he is interested in, rather than being 1 good item in a field of 50 pieces of junk.
Allow us to turn off items we are uninterested in, by quality and type, so that we simply dont 'see' them unless an alternate key is held down. |

" When did you start reasoning? I've gotten stuff from the emotional side of your brain, but none from the logical department. Congrats. You listed one game that you didn't like and Blizzard tried to change up Diablo. They I guess you could say "rebooted" the series or whatever. Still fail to see how it is selling out. Also, there are different people working with Blizzard now than when Diablo 2 was created. If you expected it to be the same as Diablo 2 but with better graphics, then I think you expected too much of the same. All I see you doing is getting mad at individuals rather than the company that created the games you are supposedly referring to. Companies do not listen to individuals when making a game. They typically look at statistics in sales, and feedback through the variety of media out there. Then, they discuss internally how they want to change X or Y, but ultimately the decision comes from the team. There is no "selling out" as far as I can see. Only if they use brand name to sell certain game titles. Most of the games I know that use brand name to sell their product are usually movie licensed games or tv, etc. Sidenote: I see people bash games like Call of Duty or World of Warcraft only because "everyone is doing it". Usually when I didn't like a game I just decided not to buy it, but for some reason a good majority of people regard games like CoD or WoW to be one of the worst games out for reasons unknown to me. I feel the same way with Diablo 3 personally. I didn't play Diablo 3, but I'm sure it's not as bad as what I'm hearing. It just sounds like a bunch of angry fans overreacting over a title they didn't like. IGN: Mibuwolf
