Announcing The Last of the Druids Race Event

It literally costs them nothing to have Rank 1 rewards AND runner-up rewards. It has literally nothing but positives. Insane to say it's an entitled mindset when that strategy is literally how you get new runners into the space and encourage the community to practice at getting better and participating.

" You made me curious. When has there ever been an event in POE2 that everybody could enjoy? I was playing all time, dont think I missed it? There is no such things as events or time based bonuses at all, unless you declare discount in the shop as an event? ;) Or are you refering to twich drops? IGN: “_THE__ROCK_”: level 92 melee ranger >>>> Tougher than any Marauder, no silly walk or spinal injury and has pants <<<< Other currently retired toons level 83-85 fitting the description above… Last edited by Conan_xxx#1131 on Feb 26, 2026, 1:10:30 PM

I think the races are fun and good idea. Would be nice to have ability to start your race within 2-6hrs of the start time to give everyone a shot to jump in. Your individual clock could start once you create your character. Everyone starting at the same time makes it hard to follow as well and on top of that it's very obvious who is going to win. Whereas if some start a little later a really good finish time could still be beat. Like having multiple heats going and best overall time wins.
Then like others are saying I see both sides not everyone needs a prize but still cool to have something to show you joined the race and finished. Like an in game trophy or some kind of funny item you could get to show off at your base. This would also make it more memorable for everyone who keeps coming back for the next events. My 2 cents. |

I remember participating in a PoE1 race event back when there were 3 acts. All participants(who played basically the whole time) were given compensation.
I don't understand these events for 8 people. You could have 10s of thousands of participants. Oh well. |
