The Bringer of Rain/build question

Bathe in a sea of blood

Edit: That has a nice ring to it, someone should theme a unique after it.
Brutus. Do you even sync?

I'm kind of getting exciting thinking of a build with that and facebreakers. 4-linking frenzy, multistrike, melee splash, lifesteal on that helmet. Running enduring cry and discharge.
Yeah, no matter how much I wish it, the only viable form of Melee Physical dps is Facebreakers..

2H Physical or 1h phys+shield, just doesn't come close... (Except for Flicker/LightningStrike, but those are more efficient as CI, which this Helm can't make use of for obvious reason.. :P)

I'd just use the middle 3 items

Infernal blow + melee splash + increased AoE = GG offense

Dessarro's shield + 15% shield + templar shield nodes = GG defense

for amulet just use a good +phys damage + hp one instead of carnage heart

The problem with infernal blow + melee splash is you kill yourself to elemental reflect pretty easily.
with facebreakers ... forget about this

because the % its gives you cant compete with the % of raw physical damage amplifiedd by

you would need something with Phyz dmg like these

and that has attack speed, life, accuracy

mains uniques you need:
Meginord's Girdle
The Bringer of Rain (check)

you need to find items with :
Life
adds x-XX physical damage
accuracy
Life leech
Attack speed

here are items that look like
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

I agree. I'm currently finishing merciless on my facebreaker guy and the only critical piece is a Meginord's Girdle and either this helm or Abyssus. Things like Broadstroke add very little damage. Likewise, do not get any +%phys damage passive nodes on the skill tree. They are pretty much worthless. You are far better off getting more life nodes. Your damage won't be a problem, surviving in permanent melee mode will be.

I recommend a decent shield instead of a quiver, because this build requires a huge amount of defense if you're going to map.

Good stuff, lots to work with, thanks all! For now I think I'll just use the helm with my 2h build since I don't have a good chest anyways. Guess we will see what happens when the melee changes come.
Just out of curiosity, do you know what the melee changes are?

I would like to ask what does the 15% block chance mean.
Is it +15% block chance?
Is it 15% base block chance and whatever +% u get from passives add multiplicative?
Is it 15% block chance max limit?

thanks for reply
