Finished campaign in Phrecia 2.0, my only question is who asked?

Just another great case of GGG misunderstanding what we want. This is probably gonna be the last event or league for me for a while. They won't fix simple bugs. They ignore reports that numerous people make. They don't even have a proper team set up for actually invest in strong development for both games. Everything seems halfway done.

On the other hand I appreciated the false promises and the idiots fumbling everything back when settlers lasted a year. That was the furthest I had ever gotten in maps as a casual who works 50 hour weeks.

This game is built for streamers and no lifers now. But that's also my p I'm opinion and I could be wrong.

I was running around with 12% fire res and 4% lightning res most of the part 2 campaign, until I equipped some gear from my stash and got res capped in act 10. Don't care how much of a "mistake" that is, this is just how SC Trade players rush through campaign. I was still wearing act 1 gear in act 6,7,8,9.

Well you've figured out the main issue. You're expected to improve and advance your gear throughout the campaign, and not use act1 gear for the entire campaign.
Even if you're playing sc it's important to fix your resistances as you go, especially if you're playing a more spicy event as just over leveling zones on its own won't fix the problem.

They are an HC mechanic forced into SC, and onto all the players who logged in and just wanted to enjoy some Phrecia.

The only real HC mechanic is perma death, and such mechanic was not introduced into the event for SC. Everyone who spent a few seconds reading GGG's announcement knew what they were signing up for.

I don't think you can compare your performance to everyone else as most people either play an optional league starter they are comfortable with and respec into their desired build once they can.
Or they already simply start out the journey with a meme build assuming they don't need any high level mandatory items to start with.

That's why GGG DIDN'T do that in their announcement and phrased it the way they did. So people would be ready for surprises.

But I had more life and better resistances at level 60 than you have right now at level 83, so maybe that's why I flew through acts 9 and 10 deathless and you struggled so much that you weren't having fun?

Defenses are an important part of your builds, kids. You should really consider having any.

Because I thought it would be normal phrecia, and I got through campaign anyway so its whatever. I will complain when random stuff like this gets put into an event for literally no reason.

I'm just gonna get my lvl90 mystery box then most likely quit. Enrage on all the bosses is just not fun either and increased dust cost on recomb for idols+cringe breach mechanic that's forced in all your maps makes this whole event so much worse.

I'm sorry but we don't all play uber SSF HC meta slave builds. Some of us SC Trade players wanted to have fun in this event, and GGG ruined it for so many people.

Half of the players already quit according to steamcharts lol

You heard it here first folks, building a character that can handle the content to adequate degree to have fun is some hardcore only metaslave nonsense that the proletariat need not partake in.

Guess 4l self cast frostbolt is also the new secret HC meta slave build since the campaign felt pretty easy after act 4 lol.
