0.4.0d Hotfix 2
" Diminishing Returns [dih-min-ish-ing ri-turnz] noun "Any rate of profit, production, benefits, etc., that beyond a certain point fails to increase proportionately with added investment, effort, or skill." Dont get upset that players thought they could outpace an exponential decrease by just "doing more" LOL |

This league's so good :)

" Since you wanna play it smart learn to read properly " Added a Diminishing Returns to the Modifier Values applied by Rooms" Where the hell do you read that affects the medaillons drop rate ? |
|
" Why would you assume drop rate isnt a scalable modifier? How does the game decide if one drops? Everything in the game operates this same way under the hood... |
|
" Are you saying that the altered values of map mods should affect the drop value of Medallions, which are league-specific items that don't even go into your inventory, that are drops from designed content for them...? Do you even know what you're talking about? We know it's not a scalable value because if it did, a room would have dropped 5-10 medallions, not ONE, because temple monsters have 3 digits of effectiveness einstein, try to educate yourself better before trying to make a point with zero grounding. " Because a Modifier Value is scallable , rewards from a room completion isnt as far as it's stated put it that way , if it was scallable we would be able to loot more than 1 ( for exemple ) Architec orb once we complete a corruption chamber if that Diminimishing Returns would applies also to room completion rewards if we get more than 4 corruption chamber sometimes we couldnt (in theory) loot that architect orb right ? Sorry if the last message was rude it wasnt my intention but i can't stand people getting on their high horses and claiming things they can't even understand properly in the first place. Many folks have been calling this issue for more than a week and we have zero communication from the staff isnt great ... This temple shinanigans hotfixes has been a mess so far i'm still enjoying it tho but you have to understand that folks have a right to be confused about that. |

The bottom line is that it's silly and ridiculous for YOU to tell GGG exactly what diminishing returns is allowed and not allowed to affect.
You want to make your 15 Spymaster temple and have it beat out the diminishing returns that they added as a hotfix. Talk about entitlement... |
|
" Once again it seems you have some issues with reading properly 1.The issue was 2 or 3 hotfixes after i was able to get my medaillons just fine even after hotfix 15 2.I dont tell what GGG should do i just quote what they put in THEIR patch note nothing less nothing more i can read properly thing that you can't do apparently... 3.I have 9 spymasters and my Temple is around 40 rooms ( not even using russian tech etc ) 4. We talking about the game not the players so keep ur childish arguements for yourself, Just say you're sorry and move on not a big deal |

" Buddy, stay calm. I’m upset, too, but let’s not waste our energy arguing with each other. Players who don’t have large temples just won’t understand the issue. GGG has done an excellent job dividing the player base so they can avoid another 300 pages of negative feedback. Let’s not make it easy for them. |

Yeah, Lock medallions have started dropping again. It looks like something that had quietly broken was quietly fixed, but I’m honestly not sure what changed.
The problem is that now Lock seems to drop in almost every room, and other rewards barely show up. It feels like there’s no middle ground. Does it really have to be “always” or “never”? And while I was already frustrated about that, I placed a room in the wrong spot and it threw my entire temple layout broken :( That part is on me, of course, but then the question becomes: how am I supposed to recover from a mistake like that? It would really help to have some kind of reset or undo option. Right now, the only way to “reset” is to run a huge number of maps just to get back to a workable state, which feels excessive. It’s hard not to feel like the system is designed in a way that turns something really fun into something exhausting. I’m sharing this because I genuinely like the temple mechanic and want it to feel better to interact with, especially when small mistakes can snowball into hours of recovery. I come home wanting to play a bit just to unwind from the stress of the day, and honestly even to clear my head after some tension at home. But instead of relaxing, I end up in even more chaos in-game. At this point I genuinely start questioning whether PoE is meant to be a game you can enjoy casually, or more like a second job. I’m saying this because I really do like the core of it, but the way some systems work right now makes it hard to log in and simply have fun. |
