I am convinced Lunaris temple 2 and 3 loot is bugged

there is no reason why lunaris should drop more orbs.

but what seems to be true, is that high lvl whites are pretty rare (I never got murder mitts or even a glorious @ lunaris).

Yea it's not just you. Before levels were increased i did some testing in lunaris particularly level 2.

Level 2 was PACKED with monsters, but the drops were horrible, even on 80 consecutive runs i saw almost nothing whatsoever, and i tested more days.

Back then i got fair results in lunaris 3, but i didnt farm it that many times so my sample size is too small to make any judgement.

What i came to suspect was that, at least for level 2, the drops were significantly reduced on purpose as not to outshine lunaris 3. Lunaris 3 often yielded me about a full inventory of good stuff worth selling even found some gcp/chaos there so i didn't suspect that to be reduced.

Now i think areas such as fellshrine, docks and other areas you have mentioned either have the standard drop rate, and that lunaris level 2 is reduced in comparison, or that those areas have increased drop rates on purpose to turn them into grind areas.

It's hilarious, last time i posted about this i got a boatload of the usual "rng is rng" comments from random people who just prefer to talk crap before thinking or testing.

Lunaris 2 is packed with champions and rares, you can speed through that area in a couple of minutes and kill a serious amount of them, but do that for hours and hours and you will never find much.

One tenuous hypothesis I have is that Lunaris is a decidedly unwelcoming place, thus there may be some psychological predisposition to think that it therefore does not yield as good items... but who can prove such a thing?

At least for me and my fireball build lunaris is an utter massacre, there is very little annoyance involved when i farm it :D

EDIT: FFS, now all this grind talk made me want to play PoE and i had to close the game i was playing...

I don't farm Lunaris 2 but I go there to pick up Burned Miscreations as my spectres. I usually get something while there and even got 2 days ago one of these :) (dropped off a Burned Miscreation)

Huh how the fuck can it drop lvl69 unique map if they said map drops are locked to 66..

Either way, yes, I do feel it's worse as far as farming goes. Still there's something to be said about being dead bored of docks lol.

This is why you stop farming the same area over and over and over again without breaking the process up.

Well actually, right after the 0.10.8 patch, Kole and Piety could drop Unique maps. I think they have fixed it now but am too lazy to look it up. Some people have nothing to do but make up stuff they have no clue about.
