Early Access Discussion - Does GGG want us to stop playing at level 90? - Forum

The juice was worth the squeeze right up until this threshold(level 90) and now in my humble opinion its over tuned. (perhaps its the gains that are too small, either way the math is wrong) The time you steal from me should be a slap on the wrist. Enough to sting not enough to make me want to play a different game that respects my time more. I am at a loss here how is everyone else ok with it? Do you play less difficult content and grind to minimize risk? That would suck the fun right out of the game for me. How do you all do it? Yes they do. After level 90, other then grinding for gears, not much to do. I wish there were other stuff for players to grind like extra skill points, some permenant resistances or stats, or maybe unlocking new gear slots. I am a quite dreamer myself tbh :) if GGG wants to lock more player into the game, there must be more stuff to do in endgame. NOT just grinding for currency or perfecting items. Im on my third character to level 98 in hardcore. With the current build its so easy to just blast through any map - i dont enjoy that at all. I wish it was a lot harder to get to 100 (and getting the good gear). Currently we max out within the first week..... Im not sure who its tuned for, i guess people who think exp flattens out at 90? 98 is where the grind starts imo, up to then you can ding each day or even more often depending on build. getting to 100 should take a full season. Just think of 90 as max level and the last ten as optional paragon levels or whatever term you want to use. Reaching level 100 does not allow you to do anything in the game that you couldn't do before. Except brag about trading level 100 I suppose.
