Selling things makes you rich. I reached 400Divs only by trading. Ofcourse you need to play juiced maps with full party to expect something every 30 days play. Don't expect something from SSF abd simple T15 maps.

End of story!

Sell items to earn Divs. No point to farm them.

poe ninja only has access to a player's characters if it has been authorized, so the absence of a profile there is no indication if someone plays PoE2 or not.

This topic seams really unhealthy. This is just a game. If you like it... play it. If you dont like it... dont play it. If a game affects you this deeply, your problem is not the game. I would suggest seeking help outside of gaming.

If you put no effort into trying to make currency, don't expect to make currency.

- Spend couple hours to learn crafting, craft gear, sell, make currency. Like most basic crafting of using desecrated currency and slamming exalts on rare gear with 4-5 mods.
- Pickup normal rarity good bases, use perfect transmute/aug, often you hit good mods which people buy as is, or continue crafting with essence, desecrated currency and exalts.
- Use poe2.ninja to see what uniques people use, find popular and cheap ones that cost much more if you hit something good with vaal, or if you add quality in case with rings or amulets.
- Literally running maps with abyss tablet and 2 random tablets get you money.
As long as you have decent build, it should be strong at low budget.

POE2 at its core in trade environment is just picking up divine orbs and turning it into gear.

Pretty pointless and boring if you ask me. On SSF loot on the ground matters actually

If you feel the current league too difficult because economy reasons, I recommend start playing with friends in a big group or play SSF with friends.

If you still feel like you're not experiencing any joy, maybe you're just burned out man. Sometimes it is good to have a break and spend some time with family.

There is nothing wrong with your logic.
