Again, too little, too late with the temple fix. League didn't last a week before exploits ruined it. Next time, if you're gonna allow it, allow it for the full league so everyone can take advantadge.

The Economy broke down overnight thx to Temple, GGG please fix this ASAP, the loot running maps is an absolute Disaster, not everyone wants to run a temple that gets destroyed and destroyed all over after you invested 100+ hours into it.

As someone that plays casual but gets to end game - this is a total disaster
The trade league is totally outta control scaling and economy wise, due to the temple exploiters and massive snakes they giga farmed meanwhile i run 6 maps, and if im lucky get a single devine orb.... good 1 bye for 0.4 and if this practice continues bye permantly |

league is great, temple is great, economy stonks, only mirror and regal shards loot filter - hide divines for smooth experience without disruptions. The core problem here was the same problem as necropolis.
It is too garbage at low investment. Too valuable at high investment. And too frustrating and cumbersome to make the investment. Now, they figured out how to mostly bypass the frustration through some gray area ethics. And you've tried to make it feel better than it did to start. But the core problem is the temple is too big. And necropolis had too many plots. It could be argued that it's similar to the skilltree where ~120 choices are made- that's the core build building of PoE! 120 optimized choices will be exponentially more powerful than one with only 40 optimal choices. Yes, but someone can just pretty quickly realize their failure and then fully reset the skilltree to copy someone else's better decisions so it's not really much loss. And it takes just a few minutes. Rewriting the temple without exploits would take days of mapping. 80+ rooms or plots causes too many multipliers at the high end. And too few multipliers at the low end. You'll presumably try to salvage the temple. Atzoatl is 13? rooms and only really bad because most rooms don't have useful endgame rewards. Keep it 13-25 or so, less effort on deletion equilibrium and more on tile placement in a full temple. The 80+ decisions multiplying together is what causes low-end to be too bad and high end to be too good and hampers your ability to balance it. |
