0.4.0c Hotfix 12

To the entire team at GGG,

I am a player with 25 years of online gaming experience and would like to offer some objective suggestions for consideration.

Regarding the 0.4 season: If the new mechanic is to continue into 0.5, it is essential to first eliminate all forms of reset exploits, such as the previously known Holten method. Based on confirmed information, there are other similar exploits in areas like Snowy Mountain and Black Forest. These must be addressed; otherwise, all future seasons—and even the official release—risk being undermined.

Regarding future versions: Party loot drops must be adjusted. For example, in a 6-player party, all map modifiers and monster attributes should be multiplied by six. Unique monster modifiers should also exceed normal limits, and players should be granted only one death opportunity. This would require party members to have top-tier builds to succeed. Higher loot rates must correspond to equally high difficulty; otherwise, party loot rates should be removed and aligned with solo play.

It is recommended that starting from version 0.5, the focus should be on perfecting the campaign, endgame, and new classes. Each time a new mechanic is introduced, bugs inevitably arise, which significantly disrupt the in-game economy. Since an economy reset is not feasible, it would be more efficient to solidify the foundation first and then add new content. Otherwise, player confidence will continue to decline, and attracting new players will become increasingly difficult—especially since current publicity tends to be negative, pushing potential newcomers away from the game.

Either the implementation of this hotfix is incorrect, or it was never meant to 'scale' the crystal count with difficulty.

If a t16 6mod gave 6+ crystals, that could actually help with inflation a bit as it would create a small exalt sink too.


Requires an 8 mod t15+ (can be t14 with iridium for instance), not at 6 mod T16.

You can get two from a tier 8 6 mod, but no lower.

Sometimes you just have to try things and figure it out.


I did try 8 mod t15 as well. ive tried just about every combo with mods and maps and the max crystal count you get is 2. when the patch says "scales with tier and modifiers", and all it is is flat +1 to crystal count, There is no scaling at all.

Your words told me you didn't understand it at all.

People always ignore trash content and rush to something worth our time, if you want to waste time on trahs content, just do it. I fully encourage you to do so.

The partyplay's high outcome comes from two main dimensions, one is rarity, and the other is sceptre aura and related unique items stacking. The first part is expensive, but provide the main profit of partyplay, as the party bonus is only 51% more currency and normal items for a 6-people party (far too low compared with poe, which is 100% more per character, stacked to 500% more for a 6-people party). And the second part make the whole party save tons of currency on their gears, 4 aura stacker bot cost almost nothing, and the carry can be far cheaper than normal end-game character, the main price comes from the expensive rarity uniques (corrupted to 1.2x value, of course it could also be cheap if you can compromise 15-20% of charcater rarity).

The method to "kill" partyplay is straitforward, remove the rarity bonus on currency (then rarity will become totally a trash polution mod), or change these party bonus item to limit one (choose the highest value of the same type of aura-like buffs), or make them only work on "YOUR" own summoners (for sceptre it's a proper way)(then a team must invest tons of currency to build up the carry who can deal with full power 6-people maps).

From Last week 250k on peak? Dont tell me its free weekends that the previous week, we are at week 3 now.

Yup. GGG Waited way too long to do something, and with their IN-ACTION to punish the exploiters, most casuals (like myself), will be skipping this league and NOT be buying a supporter pack next season. Only person to blame is themselves. If no accountability occurs then why support such a company?
Blizzard agents inside GGG headquarters ? the league is dead...
