Crossbow + Mercenary.... completely sucks!

Yes, the boost the viper cap provides is hard to match with anything else.

Even mirror tier rare items cannot really compete with it.

Crossbows are super good. Witch hunter and Tactician are exceptionally strong. My issue is how often they crash. Not sure if the skills are buggy, or the effects are too much, but its a recipe to get those grinding gear screens about a billion times more often than other classes. I got 90+ in every merc ascendancy. I play one every league.

Can they be better? Sure. Not sure why quivers dont work. Or why they cant use Rhoa mounts. That would help a lot.

It's not like the fastest speedrunners are running excactly that combo (xbow & merc) for a reason..could it be that...it's simply melting bosses with grenades?

No, crossbows do not crash.

The shitty game programming crashes.

Trust me, I tested super clean thorn build, it crashes exactly the same.

It doesn't matter if you have 50 minions, 50 comets per second, or 50 bolts.

All crashes. Even more than usual lately.
Crossbows are perfect really.

Well maybe not perfect perfect but better than most...
