Getting no Fixes to the game feels extremely bad

i havent seen a GGG post since so long, but im afraid there wont be, we are "early beta testers" they are not really concerning to fix this game like it would be an official release, time is dilated here, they do when they have time.

Their main focus is poe 1 (which is absurd to me, but again its probably the major market for rmts).

It honestly doesnt seem like their main priority is POE1. POE2 is a lot of work, new classes, new areas, new weapons, new skilsl, ascendacnies etc.

I dont know why we already got a league mechanic (abyss). That was just a lot more work than necessary and also just a copy of poe1.

If we add the league mechanics every POE2 league should be around the same work as POE1. If we add league mechanics its very likely more work.
But the problem is what they do between leagues.

I have exactly same feeling about it.

PoE2 is just a preparation for the moment when PoE1 becomes not relevant.
And words about “major project PoE2” is just a good work of PR nowadays

I pine for the good old days when Bex was still around. Her and others were regularly posting in these forums and REALLY interacting with the players.
I don't know who decided that that sort of interaction should stop, but clearly someone did and it was a BAD CALL. Chris was also always giving interviews somewhere in those days.
We went from one of the most transparent and communicative developers in the world to what we have now : this airtight black box company that only very sparsely makes announcements in the most formal of manners, and those usually lack information as well, whether intended or not.

So it is no big mystery why a huge flame was burning in every player's heart for the old GGG and why this one is generally despised in comparison. Congratulations, you're one of the big ones now !

In regards to the patching, yes, it is atrocious. One can clearly see the amount of bugs and plain non-functional stuff in POE 2 keep piling up as time goes on. Someone thought they could have their employees do double the work in the same amount of time and someone was wrong. Deciding it is OK to release an Early Access game and then NOT work on it for 6 months each year is baffling.
And the game WILL suffer from it. Hell, it already IS and i'm fairly sure it'll only get worse

But game is sad now.
0.3.1 removed tower, it's whatever to me. But we were left with unchanged tablet drop rate and tablet only working for 10 maps. Before you could influence much more maps with them.

I tought we needed to be patient and they would adjust it but now it's silence.

I dont know much about game developement but i doubt it's a huge work to make tablet work for 30 maps instead of 10 or to adjust drop rate to be much better.
Now we're left with tablet we dont care much for and we have no more choice in maps we're running like before.

I loved end game before that patch and now i just stopped playing because mapping become boring.

The amount of bugs is just going higger and higger. I reported stuffs i noticed were reported since release...

Still coming everyday here to see if there is a new patch but i'm getting hopeless tbh. Guess we're just been asked to stop playing until 0.4.
I dont like poe1 so i'm not switching to it, i have nothing against it either but yeah, my game i love is dead now and it make me sad.

I feel the same, well said. Gonna play some Zomboid? :) I'm playing PoE1 now instead of PoE2, but I might switch to Titan Quest II, since they just dropped a new content patch.

I feel the same. I'm a slow player mainly just for lack of time (and I'm frankly not that good and I enjoy doing off-meta stuff). 0.3.1 dropped like 3 days after I finally got a char I liked playing to maps then I couldn't get any more ritual tablets to save my life, thus couldn't get omens to craft - so I basically just gave up since I also couldn't afford the hundreds of div on trade for upgrade items.

I hope 0.4.0 brings some big changes. I already feel burnt out even just thinking of doing the campaign again.
