What Will Happen When The Mercenaries League Ends

Probably the worst 'mechanic' ever introduced into PoE 1. Use them as Rogue Exiles instead of brute-forcing them into all builds when they come back.

Nice to know they've coming eventually at least.

Please when they return don't make them mandotory for every build, doriyani's mercs were just ridiculous and were basically required for every lightning build. Just disable uniques on them.

I'll be honest, when I started 3.26 I wasn't really into the Mercs and felt they were redundant, but as the levels, maps, bosses went by I started to grow attached to my carefully crafted killing machine and my puny little character running around bringing mayhem wherever we went, so I'm saddened about them getting removed but extremely happy to hear they will return in the future, the Mercs really made the leveling much more enjoyable and just a bit less lonely, although I'd love for them to come back with more VA work depending on the location,event,encounter or whatever just to tie them better with the overall story and world.

PS. Revamp the story so you don't go straight into Kirac island the moment you end act 10 but go through the Oriath post game campaign as we used to and do the entire questline that eventually leads to the kirac island with the elderslayers and all that, it's going to make this a much more cohesive experience and POE definitely lacks in cohesion due to constantly removing its own story.

Hope to see Mercenaries back soon. They were one of the best additions to the game in a long time. It was really fun to finally find a use for the Admiral.
