Tablet affix buffs: Too little.
-Compared to the previous system there is basically no juice. -acquiring the right affixes is wayyyy too much RNG. Mapping is effectively dead if you didn't juice your maps. And even if you did, what happens after? edit: come to think of it, while you're buffing affixes, put more on them. Why did you change the whole system but keep the 2-affix limit? Make it 4, or even 6 Number of tablet affixes to unlock 3rd slot: Too high. -I appreciate a good risk vs reward but A. It's very costly, way more costly than it was to juice before (it was never worth 3 Ex per waystone in my limited testing prior to 0.3.1, but DEFINTELY not worth the investment now that the juice doesn't exist) and B. 1 portal maps basically means if you're not overpowered in the content, you're going to lose a lot of tablet charges and how are you supposed to magically just be OP? There's a progression for most people. So in conclusion, you've made it harder, WAY harder, for casuals and new players to obtain any loot whatsoever. Also, was it necessary to remove the rare monster markers? You added a feature we've all gotten used to and just yeeted it. I suspect there are other angry gamers. Was really sad to see that the rare mobs are not shown on minimap any longer after trying out a few maps.
I really liked that QoL, it made going through maps (Especially those with really annoying or very big layouts) since you did not have to search endlessly for them. And you knew when you were basically done with a map in cases were you killed the boss but still wanted to kill all the rares for loot. I hope they bring that back. Other than that, it feels good so far :) I like the new changes. in my opinion, mobs hit to hard from lvl 1 areas till 70lvl etc.
its shit when you die and the map reset... with all mobs killed and loot gone :( . 6portals its cool, but 1-2 portals is for Hardcore players. why poe2 make ppl mad playing and dying from hard hitting mobs or reseting map. especialy there should be future in chat that show from what hit or how much dmg it was that player Die, didnt knowing from what we Die... |

" its like... 1/3 of what we had just yesterday. if you went to mcdonalds, and got a number one, and had the drink and fries taken away... you wouldnt get used to not having fries and a drink for the same price. you would stop going to mcdonalds. getting 1/3 of the loot, you were getting yesterday... ya no. people wont get used to it. they will go play d4 and le instead. or literally any other game that doesnt disrespect their time. |

Tier 1-5 for average Joe is now better.
T15 juice lost its flavor Btw what does this mean? - The base pickup radius for all Remnants has been increased by approximately 50%. Can someone explain is this expedition "remnant" tombstone? Or is this cold-ice-fire shards? ty. |

" it might seem like all those casuals just got a buff to their loot. until they realise all that div gear they want to buy, is now inflated to the point they cant even buy starter gear. cuz the people who sell and craft that gear, have to run 3 maps, to get what they used to in currency from running one. therefore. those divines, shoot up in price even faster than they were already doing from inflation and time lapsed in the league. dont believe me? look right now what the exalt to divine conversion costs right now. and then go look at it in about 6-8 hours. tell me what happens. cuz i already know. and said it in this post. +1 to please add rare monster icons back inside maps.
As a newer player, who typically goes full bore into a game for a couple weeks then moves on; I was actually truly enjoying this game. I was apologizing to my friends for playing it non-stop for a month! It felt like it was accessible to a large number of players with multiple different builds. I was enjoying seeing all the different ways players were building their characters and were still able to do content. I loved setting up my towers and still able to make money with the full quantity, but without having to "juice" all my maps. I enjoyed the feel of progression, the feel of still having something to do, leveling my character and earning currency along the way. Now, it feels like there is no point to progressing the Atlas. It is punishment to those who were quietly enjoying the mapping part of the game and maybe not rich, but making enough to build a fun mapping character. We could farm with nice quantity and tower setups, without having to do zero revives on every single map! Now, you have to do a 6 waystone, just to reach the same quantity as before and it's harder and you have to do a harder boss no matter what to progress? With zero leeway, unless you want to sacrifice the map stats. On top of that, now we also would have to spend more money to fix our build for bosses, yet it's now harder for us to get money. (Not to mention the farmers and resellers jacking up prices as it is). Anyway, in my opinion, it is less rewarding for the casual player and much harder for them to obtain loot and progress. It is only rewarding the players who are already rich and powerful and whom were vocal about what they felt should change. It is alienating a large part of the player-base. I suppose, if that is who you are catering to, then it was a good update. As a newer player, I am truly confused by this update for player retention for casual players. Again, at least please add rare icons back. Thanks for reading my Ted-Talk. :D |

I don’t like this patch, first map I got a double div and now 20/30 maps further everything feels empty and boring, 30% quant and with luck 60%?
I was a bit done with the league now, but wanted to try and get some whisp farming done… but now, I can’t farm bosses with azmerian whisps anymore or I will just have 0 quant and just an additional modifier and possesion… unique tabs are useless now I don’t have a goal anymore in the atlas map, just because poe1 players don’t like this mapping doesn’t mean all the new players of poe2 are forced the way of poe1 players lmao what do i do? I just search for corrupted maps now? and hope they have a good modifier? lol or I just put in 3 tablets and endlessly aim forward doing the same stuff same setup? Also they put back the deli mirrors instead of all mobs already being there? now everywhere there are some small packs of monsters and I have to go and look for them.. … first you would see the rares and have a goal to find the drops, but now it’s just aiming for the boss and hope you get around some rare mobs, or you have to clear an empty map hoping there will be some rare mobs.. also why is this called patch 3.1 lol like it’s a change yes but feels like beta also bosses always have been crap drops, and now my goal is to defeat crap?, as reward? and wow great, this 0.3 started of amazing and 1 month of playing intesively and now it all feels shit Last edited by rxzxr8171#2046 on Oct 1, 2025, 11:40:23 AM
