lol - it's a pretty fair ask to get something to remember for completing the challenge; just looking through these posts its an extremely popular opinion so idk gotta consider others feelings when you play a multiplayer game ijs.

All races are bad design.

Challenge events (gauntlets, endless delirium, mayhem, etc.) with tiered rewards and rewards by ascendancy rather than class (and, for example, demigod for top 3 by ascend) are a better use of time, more fun, and better for community engagement and content than pure win-or-lose binary speed races and could easily be implemented into POE2.

really they might as well make these invite only with like the top 5-20 speedrunners and call it day. Didn't they used to at least give out some basic cosmetic stuff for hitting a certain level in the event or such? I feel like they did. But yeh, 0 reason for me to even participate due to work and other things.

I'm glad the winner gets a cool Demigod item. Thats great. But how about a wooden bucket with loser on it for us plebs? I'd honestly think that is funnier and cooler.

I got really excited when I saw that races were returning. Back in the day, the PoE1 races we so much fun. Did I ever have a chance of winning? No. But they gave us a nice little alternate art items for reaching different goals during the race and it was great. But now I see only the winners are getting anything and I have to wonder... why participate at all? I still have no chance of winning. Please GGG. Remember how you all did it before and make it fun for everyone by giving an incentive to participate and finish. Maybe I'm alone in feeling like this and if others have a different view then that is fine too. But I feel like you all would see WAY higher participation and interest if the reward system was more like it was in the old PoE1 racing days. I still have my Winterheart alternate art items on PoE1 and I remember those races fondly.

You had once pvp hc races, where players instances could be invaded and pants scalped, but nope, you opted for format of whos bigger nolifer lol, i dont care about watching streamers pixel dix.

Sunday night start, rewards only for the winners, yea no.

One race per week, and 3 races total is kinda lame.
