Hurry up with poe2 and stop support the dead game that is poe1. Poe1 hasn't had a new player in 5 years.

It would be a lot more fun and get more people involved if you offered prizes for more than just the first place winner. This only appeals to a few specialized streamers and it ends up being no fun for anyone. There should be prizes for the Top 100 as well as participation prize for anyone that finishes the race.

I hate it when "events" just cater to streamers.

If there's 3 races, wouldn't it be better at different timezones so all region can play at their preferred timezones?

How about a mistery box for the top 100? Or something?

Can you even call this an "event" if it's ONLY relevant to 0.0005% of the playerbase?

I am usually backing up GGG, but these "events" are pointless for the majority of players. By majority, I mean like 99.9999% of players who have bought the game so far.

At first I thought GGG could make some simple, collectable armours for the players to show that they participated, like a chest plate (my first thought was a digital T-Shirt).

But then, I thought an even cooler idea would be some decorations for Hideouts; maybe something players could "hang up" in their hideout that would show what place they got in the race. It could be simple, like a Banner that is slightly interactive, displaying what place you got in the race. And the more races that happen, the more "displays" the banners could have. And depending on how well you do, the Banner could get fancier. The more races there are, the more "Banners" (or plaques, or posters, or whatever cool design GGG can come up with).

If GGG wanted to make money off the idea, they could have a basic free version that everyone could get, and then a fancier version, maybe with a pet cosmetic, for like 5$. And then the better your placement in the race, the more interesting/detailed the designs can be.
