Energy Shield Not Fully Recharging
Thanks gentlemen for good points.
But there’s definitely something going on here. If the server informs the client that ES is full, then why — after taking damage again — does the ES loss first start from the client’s value instead of correcting to the server’s ? If it were just a matter of data communication/synchronization, then the next server update should correct the ES state. In this case, it seems like there’s faulty communication in the other direction: when taking damage again, the client first sends its ES value to the server, and the server accepts it. That’s why the damage starts from the client’s ES level instead of the server’s latest data. If that’s really the case, it’s very concerning... 🌞 Designer of SimpleFilter see My Item Filters 🌞 🌞 I treat PoE as an art 🌞 Last edited by koszmarnica#7777 on Sep 29, 2025, 6:51:26 AM

I am only hypothesizing based on what I know/have experienced.
Part of the information behind this hypothesis is based on seeing a similar desync before with Righteous Fire under certain conditions. This is why I don't think that lowering your HP again with damage over time was making the server update the client with the current actual Life/ES values. |
