Odd response.
Im not going to show you a video of doing kulemak for 5-7 minutes as that would be a video of me literally standing around doing nothing.
Very odd goal post shift saying this:
"Show me an extremely bad/poor build doing a pinnacle boss fight"
And you did not understand the ice mechanic at all from your OP.
You ignore the bullet point above it where I mention it's hard to see the safe spots, which means I am aware there are safe spots. I also mentioned in a reply in more detail of how the mechanic actually works. So yes, you are not comprehending or you are being very disingenuous with your replies.
It's not a very odd thing to say. If you're going to have strong opinions on the mechanics, then you should show the video of you doing them. You certainly have a lot of videos of you not doing them. You're bringing builds into a post that is completely irrelevant to the conversation other than specifying I know I am using a bad one. There's not a single individual boss in this game that you can't dodge or perform all its mechanics without taking a hit, why should this boss be any different then those?

My whole response to you was to get you to talk about the mechanics and maybe visuals and steer the conversation away from things such as "melee characters struggle" sort of ideas.
And generalized ideas around balance, archetypes, and/or simplifying the fight.
The fight is stupid easy. Its beyond kind of a joke, which is sad but it is what it is.
We can make things easier to read, and more streamlined like with the balls that follow you, his slam from the sky, the ground effect before the cold attack.
But we also need to recognize, this fight is way too trivial.
So if we "fix" all of these things, it would be nice to pair this with massive buffs to something.
As taking ball and ground degen frequency away or dialing it back, and making things easier to see, and thats it....
Will make this fight more stupid easy than it already is.

I'd like to keep the thread on topic though and discuss the mechanics and their implementation.
It is on topic, your post is more towards anyone deciding to do this:
"
I do a lot of bad home grown builds and things I consider fun rather than playing known optimal builds and I do know that I am bad at creating builds. This usually ends up with me fighting bosses for an absurd amount of time
Rather then "poor design" or "mechanical problems"
Home grown build #2 (level 87 Stormweaver with a staff lololol)
If you want to make builds that sit in boss fights for minutes, mechanics are going to start stacking up on top of eachother.
More mechanics = more possibility to get hit by said mechanic
We cant start nerfing/changing pinnacle content because people decide to make bad builds.
You mention the ice mechanic visually.
If something graphically needs changing, talk about that. Talk about how things to need to change from a mechanical perspective.
Not a build reliance or balance perspective when you talk at them from making a bunch of mistakes/poor decisions on the passive tree/gear etc...
Not include all this "this is especially hard for melee players..." generalization that wont apply to anyone, unless they make a below zdps build.
For the ice wave though. Its 100% dodgeable. You roll through them and the arena tells you which direction(s) the wave will go in.
You can also stand in safety for the first wave, and the just dodge the second wave as seen in here in gifs/pics
Diagram/Picture Illustration
Gifs in action
You didn't even see the things he is talking about. You just killed the boss and showcasing your build to bully him here. Stop trolling people. He is talking about gameplay issues and if he is bad at this game let it be, please.

Every fight in this game is stupid easy and a joke if you want it to be, you've shown that in your video. But this is the only boss fight that you can't simply dodge all the mechanics. And the reason you can't show me a video of doing it is simply because you can't; it's very much RNG based whether or not you're going to get hit by certain mechanics based on what is happening at the time. This is the whole entire point of the post, it's a poorly designed boss fight. I don't really know why you're wanting to go so hard at defending it to be honest. Also, no one here is saying they should make the fight easier. Personally if I had my way, all the major mechanics in the game would just straight up one-shot you. It's about making the fight good, not easier. I am all about making it harder, but better designed and less janky. You're arguing that the fight is easy, which is only something someone running builds that kill the boss in under 2 seconds would say.

Youre making it sound like im playing something broken. And thats why I am not seeing mechanics lol.
Im playing a shield skill on a 1h warrior build.
Im playing a staff skill on a level 87 sorc.
Both with f all investment. One cant even get 5 supports in it since its skill is locked behind its weapon.
I aint spending 15+ divs on a 20 solar orb staff HEllLLLLL no.
These are like, some of the lowest damaging, lowest scaling builds in the game.
Its not rng the characters I showed you are just built well. Both have next to nothing investment. I bet your fist build has more invested in it than my characters did.
The fight is not tuned to be pinnacle at the moment. The fight is barely harder than a map boss. He has way too low life, his attacks do no damage, you dont even need to dodge the ice wave, the fog that shows up doesnt even deal damage to you it just makes it so you cant deal damage....
His auto attacks do less damage than Jamamamamanaraa does against you in the campaign....
The fights a joke. Its easy because its foundation isnt even at the level of "pinnacle" in the first place.
And this is the league mechanics main boss lol.
Like POEs entire thing is make a build that scales and kill things. Not make a build with a bunch of mistakes and ask the devs to tone things down for those builds.
Thats not how that works.

I'm just making it sound like you're using a build that allows you to kill the boss before you see the mechanics and that you've not really experienced the fight fully to have a qualified opinion about them because of it. Your opinions are based on lack of experience. There's not a single boss in this game where you can't dodge all its mechanics consistently at all times no longer how long the fight as gone on, why should this one be any different?

Because I showed you a kill in 10 seconds and 6 seconds =/= I dont know the mechanics of the fight.
I slowed things down specifically to show you these in a previous post with gifs and pictures, so this comment of yours holds no weight.
You can dodge every single one of this bosses mechanics 100%, which one cant you dodge?
What are you talking about? What goal post are you moving this time?

Of course every mechanic on its own is avoidable. You're still stuck in the mind set that I am trying to argue the ice mechanic cannot be avoided for some reason. It's RNG whether you're going to be able to dodge it based on everything else that is going on at the same time and the boss being positioned against a wall frequently. That's why I've been saying over and over that you need to experience the fight for a long period of time so you can have an idea of what is being discussed in this thread and you just keep responding with "Kill it faster" which is a cop out.

Its not rng, press shift at the right time.
Is this your argument? You dont know when to press shift?

One of three scenarios has been going on here:
1. You're trolling
2. You're purposely misunderstanding what I am saying
3. You're misunderstanding what I am saying, but not on purpose
Regardless of which scenario it is; I'm done responding to you.
