Clarification: Unrighteous Fire - Minion Damage

So, does Minion Damage nodes or the Minion Damage support gem actually affect the damage unrightous fire from A3 Burned Miscreations?

I would tend to say yes since I tried summoning with a char that specced into into minion damage and aswell with a char that did not specc into it (same gem though).
It seemed like the unrighteous fire from the spectres with minion damage dealt a bit more damage.

On the other hand - considering how Righteous Fire works, I cannot really believe this.
Can anyone confirm/ dismiss this?

this is what i found out

life leech doesnt work
miniondmg should work havent test remote mine yet maybe it will boost them
concentrated seems to work
aoe increase works
firepen works
add burning seems to work
culling works

conclusion the fact that they are melee and cant life leech only with the melee attack makes them unusable

i really hate the guessing game its time for some minion tooltip

AFAIK the damage is classed as Minion, Fire, Burning, Degeneration. So anything which applies to those should work.

Life leech doesn't work because it's degeneration and life leech applies on-hit. Culling Strike shouldn't work imo... but I've not tried it.

If it worked like Righteous Fire, no increased damage would affect the damage since it is a degeneration effect based on the casters LIFE.
Therefore minion damage should NOT work either.

I was also looking through your thread, but found no answers. Like i mentioned before - lots of maybes, but no certainty.

I just tested the following:
1 vs 1 Burned Miscreation from A3 normal versus Hillock Cruel

Not supported: ~28 seconds (specter died at Hillock 10%, 25,3 seconds)
Supported with Minion HP: 17,8 seconds
Supported with HP + Damage: 18,2 seconds
Supported with HP + Burn Damage: 14,4 seconds

It therefor seems like minion damage has NO affect on the unrighteous fire aura - just like I thought.
Thus you can only boost it by Minion HP and burn Damage.

I used Burning damage + Fire pen + increased aoe + minion life, it was very effective :P, i guess the only thing i would change in a 6l is give them resistances.
