GGG, I Really need live trade to be fixed, It has been down around 14-15 hours for me. Buying an item and then "upgrade/gamble" it to make it worth more (or just vendor) that is the fun of the game. Without live search I can't enjoy the game anymore. 100% in on the no bot situation, but RMT player will just get another account and back to botting, it is we the real players are hurting from this "fix"

Same problem for me. GGG, please explain how to cure this issue and how to avoid it in future. It is absolutely unclear why it is happening and how to avoid it

Same thing is happening to me. Changing browsers doesn't make a difference. Can't live search anything and I spend more time trading in this game than in maps. Losing out on live searches for no good reason is such a disadvantage.

The instant buyout system needs to be changed. Experienced players know that we should buy from people who don’t understand the true value of their items. With live search and instant buyout, this can be done conveniently. You just need quick hands and to stay on the trade website’s live search all day, buying rare and valuable items from newbies for self-use or even resell to earn divines. That's why so many players flood to hideouts in an instant; it's simply too profitable or currency-saving. If you are running maps while searching and find out "oh sorry. the item is gone." This further makes more players leave their gameplay and focus on live searching for these "carelessly priced" items.
While part of the frequent requests may come from bots, I believe most of them are players taking advantage of this system. One solution can be to require every instant buyout item be protected for at least five minutes on the trade website. If more than one player demands it, they should have to bid to obtain the item. This would protect sellers and ensure they receive what they truly deserve. It would also help establish a more sensible market price for these "carelessly priced" items, bringing it closer to a universal price. This change would prevent both intentional and unintentional market manipulation (cheaper item are quickly run out of stock, no time for its price to be set, only expensive item remain), and ultimately reduce the flooding of requests as rushing to hideouts no longer works. | |
