Amanamu's Gaze and SPRINT
Thanks for your report, I'll pass this on.

" This is a classic PoE confusion between movement speed and animation speed. Movement speed affects the speed of your movement at 100% animation speed. Animation speed, when modified, affects movement, attacking, casting, dodge rolling, etc. Hinder, tarred ground, etc. are debuffs that reduce movement speed and (should) work with this modifier. Temporal chains and chilled ground are debuffs that reduce animation speed and aren't relevant to this modifier. Buffs to animation speed should also be exempted from Amanamu's Gaze's restrictions, this would include Tailwind. |

don't care if it's animation speed or whatever, if shrines and sprint don't work, then temp chain and chilled ground shouldn't either. Make it consistant pls.

This is actually not bugged.
Because in PoE2, the acceleration shrine is not an action speed buff like it is in PoE1, it gives 40% increased MS and 60% skill speed. Therefore this is correct to no boost MS while affected by the abysal eye. And since Temp chains and Chill are action speed mods and not MS mods. These should indeed affect the player while affected by the eye. However. The Cap of 40% MS is completely BS in this case because disabling shrines and sprint should count as a sufficient downside to not warrant such a low cap. This cap is also unaffected by the socket effect mods (from boot essence or darkness enthroned belt) which may actually be bugged. Regardless. 40% MS AT BEST, and disabled sprint and shrines, is NOT balanced in the slightest. The cap should be doubled at the very least. |
