" Hi, an upload of your most recent client.txt file would be ideal as a primary step in troubleshooting this problem. This file contains some information about your game/PC configuration which may help put us in the right direction why you're having issues. You can locate this file inside a folder named "Logs" which is located inside your main pathofexile.exe installation folder. You can host this information inside this client.txt file (recent one) to another site like pastebin.com. You do not need to create an account to use this site. If the most recent client.txt file is too large you can split the main upload into 2 separate files to pastebin.com and link each page URL back here if necessary. Another option if the file is too large to host, feel free to rename the file, launch the game again, play for a few minutes, then exit the game and retrieve the newly created Client.txt file. " Hey, thanks for the log file. First question: Are you running the game in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode?
If you had an NVIDIA driver installed, it's possible Windows auto downloaded and updated the driver to one of its choosing. Head over to NVIDIA's site and grab an updated driver. If this doesn't work or you need more assistance reply back with more info. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/ Edit: You might also want to make this adjustment after getting the NVIDIA driver set properly:
Windows Graphics
Make sure Windows graphics is set to use the right GPU for the game .exe file Check here Settings > System > Display > Graphics Add the game .exe file Once added hit Options Select High performance Last edited by Eleven777#0993 on Sep 17, 2025, 3:32:16 PM

" Thanks for the extra effort for the dxdiag, but I think your issue is driver or configuration related. You could do a temporary test rename of your poe2_production_Config.ini to force the game to make a new file upon launch. This is located in: Documents > My Games > Path of Exile 2 See the spoiler
GPU Driver

It's a Windows or NVIDIA setting or issue. Did you DDU in Safe Mode to wipe the old driver then install the new NVIDIA driver? Not sure what version of the NVIDIA App or Control Panel you are using/have, but there should be a setting to force the PhysX Processor to your GPU. Something to try. Display Driver Uninstaller.
[Removed by Support] Instructions are on the site. The short instructions are: Download DDU + New NVIDIA driver Boot into Safe Mode in Windows 11 To boot into Safe Mode in Windows 11, hold the Shift key while selecting Power > Restart from the Start menu, then on the "Choose an option" screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. After the final restart, choose 4 or F4 for basic Safe Mode Once in Safe Mode run DDU > Uninstall the Graphics Driver + Reboot Install new NVIDIA driver.
