I have tried EVERY, SINGLE, FIX, that I have seen online and nothing is fixing my crashes.

I open the game, and my pc shuts off instantly. It is not my temps, and no other game is doing this. I was fully able to play just fine when it launched in December so what changed?

I updated my drivers and DDUed, I turned on XMP, I did some weird jank fixes with files etc, I tried dx11, vulkan, dx12. What else is there

7800x3d
3080
windows 11 24h2

You didn't try to talk with Jonathan and Mark to fix it, instead of fucking chat talks with streamers
game is still completely locking up people's pc's, that's really embarrassing, especially after they just closed the massive 500 page threads about the issue right before season launch that they never once openly adressed and tried to pretend never existed

Same for me after this patch.. PC hard freezing have to do do hard reboot..

9800x3D, RX9070XT, Samsung 990 Pro M.2 2tb, DDR5 6000mhz.

Have also tried disabling cores, tired DX12, DX11 and Vulcan and anything else I can find on the net to try and stop this game freezing up PC.

Completely random, cant even get a refund and have spent money in the shop now game is unplayable...

Hopefully there might be a fix down the line...

this problem was in last season, they didn't do it for months!!
No hope, just fucking ragebaiting chats and interviews instead of work

yep, they trying to fool investors, but they can't fool players
Pretty similar issue here. Downloaded the game again three days ago and had no issues at all. Now, after the update I had several freezes and with the third one my PC crashed. I also noted that my fans turned on pretty loud for a few secs while changing maps and that compiling shaders took pretty long (used the ingame tool). Don't know, if this is related to the issue, but this also never was a problem before the update.

My specs are

RTX 3090
7800x3D
Win 11

Oh, and I can't use RivaTunerStatistics to monitor my hardware since the update. Works fine in every other game.....
I had the exact same behavior after the new patch and I suspected something is wrong with the memory (RAM) as my CPU was not necessarily getting pinned before crashing (had my taskbar open to monitor) and the crash always started with some sound stuttering, suggesting some sort of artifacts, which are usually due to memory issues.

I normally have 2 pairs of 8 GB of RAM (32GB in total) in my system running in dual channel.
I removed one of the pairs to only have 1 pair still in dual channel.
As soon as I did this my game never crashed, no matter what settings I turned on or off, so this fixed it for me.

My theory is that the game cannot handle certain memory configurations (either more than 16 GB in general, or more than 2 sticks).
I recommend others experiencing this that know how to add/remove their RAM from their PC try what I did and come back with feedback. If others also get a permanent fix from this it might give GGG a hint on what is actually going on.

PS: I also noticed that shaders bar on the stats was constantly green no matter how many times I visited the same area suggesting that shaders are building really slowly. After the "fix" shaders bar stays green a few seconds even in new areas of the game I never played before.

Its happening to me everytime I move around The Glade.. if I dont hurry and portal out of there, my PC hard reboots.. not just a game crash
Having the same issue ever since I updated to the new NVIDIA drivers. Game told me to and had another be like hey update. So I did. Prior to this no problems. No crashes, no disconnects. For me it's been the shader loading that basically goes welp no. Maybe roll back the drivers on your graphics card, to see if it helps? Because right now this is the ONLY game that has a problem. I load into the other game (Project Zomboid lol) and what do you know no issues. The game isn't optimized and it's not having a good time with the drivers.
I have the "crashing" problems with POE 2 from the begining of early acces, i read lots of post , watched plently of movies , read almost all fucking everything what has CRASH FIX POE 2, and nothing works until one thing that i read about problems with lags etc on X3D procesors , and it was settings in Bios like Global C-state turn on auto (have to be disable),Spread Spectrum and SVM on Disable. After this i was able to play and Crashes occure 90% less. What i also discovered is that mostly off crashes are on X3D procesors, so its looks like this can be main issue. And another thing that i realize is , in Act 1 i had almost zero crashes in Act 2 there was a damn hell , sometimes crashes one by one, minute by minute , depends in what stage of act i was . Act 3 was in middle , much more less crashes then in Act 2 but much more then in Act 1, but in this new patch ( season ) everything fucked up, im trying to end Act 1 , coz now its so many crashes like previous in Act 2 , even with those bios setup what helps earlier, for now its looks like , act 1 which one was the Best "optimized" now looks like my worst playing time in Act 2, pls its looks like its a mostly game fault :/
