No mention of improving client performance? What's the point of having more content but still suffering from audio bugs, FPS drops in the endgame, and high latency issues?

I'm pretty excited for the patch, despite no new class.

Changing things around in EA is perfectly fine and I'd rather things get finetuned now than making radical changes later on.

But at this point I think PoE2 is two games. The campaign and the endgame.

The campaign is pretty slow paced, tactical combat with smaller packs. I personally really like that, since most ARPGs just turn to "blow up the whole screen with one skill, run to the next, rinse and repeat". It can be fun at times, but it gets pretty stale fast for me.

But when you reach endgame you basically go to the one-click-blow-up gameplay. Not only that, you face insane hordes of monsters that are stupidly fast. There isn't much strategy for me, you just get boots with the highest +Run modifier, run and kite while shooting from the side. Melee builds also generally feel extremely hard to play and unrewarding in endgame because of this.

Sounds like a minority opinion but I'd rather the endgame were more like the campaign. Less chaos and one-tap-kill potential on side of player or monsters but controlled groups and more deliberate play. Adjust the drops and XP to make up for it.

I still think PoE2 is one of the best ARPGs I've played but it seems like the rift between campaign and endgame gets bigger and bigger, which means you'll lose the people who come for the campaign because endgame turns them off and lose the people who only care about endgame because they need to slog through a slow campaign they don't enjoy.

Yep, at this point they should call it Path of Exile: Remastered.
I bet when game reaches v0.9 it will be pretty much 1:1 which is a damn shame... I will probably jump in in 4 months to check out druid (if he is even out by then) but for me searchin continues

you said "buffs" in the livestream, i check patch notes, check warrior and they are pretty much gutted or some of the builds drastically changed. meanwhile you buff evasion rating which was extremely good and armour is still trash. gj GGG nerf the only classes that actually uses combos and buff the one button classes. im starting to think you dont know how to balance a game

Nothing about optimization is concerning. Especially when some of the skills changes shown show more effects and projectiles.

The most important and conerning thing people shouldnt be overlooking, it baffles me.
Does it something say about the new deflect ability for evasion builds ? I must be blind, can`t find anything about it
Everyone so focused and centred on what the patch notes say and address, and fail to address the elephant in the room. Where there is nothing in the notes pertaining to addressing how bad the optimization is in the game and what they are doing to fix it!

FSR for AMD GPUs, where?
FSR2 that's in the game is a joke.

Come on GGG, it seems like you didn't learn much from 0.2. Everyone quit the game, including me, because the game felt boring. STOP NERFING EVERYTHING just because you're adding new content. Learn that long cooldowns on skills in ARPGs are awful and only make no one use them.

I don't understand this obsession with nerfing everything. They added levels to skill gems to nerf everything and it looks like what it is now. Seriously, folks, that's a terrible idea. Don't nerf everything. Then you'll have to revert half the league. The bad thing is that the damage will be done and everyone will quit the game.

The numbers don't support your argument. PoE2 0.2.0 had a higher peak than PoE1 ever had, including its most recent league. The player falloff for PoE1's recent league was almost identical to the falloff for PoE2's in percentage of players lost over time, except PoE2 actually had a bounce-back when the 0.2.1 patch launched before continuing on the same trend we always see. People didn't quit playing any faster than they normally do.

You guys can claim these changes are killing the game all you want, but the reality is that you just don't like them, and that's fine, but the raw data doesn't support your claim.

Sorry but the data doesn't support your claims "PoE 2 drops below 10,000 players for the first time ever - With 2 months of 0.2 league still remaining it has lost -96% of all players from 0.2 league launch" The POE 2 player base is not the same as POE 1, even though they nerfed our league-to-league builds, we still played POE, these new generations know that the best punishment to take away the fun of their game is to go play something else, something that we used to defend like fools and swallowed the tremendous quarterly nerfs from GGG, unfortunately the POE 2 player base is different and the abandonment of the game in the first week of the last league was noticeable, I don't wish them ill, I loved the first POE 2 league, it made me spend 200 dollars in less than a month and I really loved doing it, I had an excellent time, just like my first League in 2013 early 2014, Domination League, I really wish they do well, but they need to stop nerfing and putting cooldowns on everything and consequences on every action.
