Which is also going to be a negative for people they apparently think are going to spring for an EA package and MTX etc but were holding out for a free weekend. Maybe to "release" a bit that anxiety to be the first in everything.

I'm a casual player, so I really can skip the first weekend, week or more... And feel the pain of not having done it in currency terms, but hey, i can play only one character per league and be happy.
