I think that is the point of choosing ZiggyD. They are already doing interviews and Q&A's with the streamers even though it usually becomes controversial. They do not need that at their reveal event.

I'd love to see someone with a giga brain do one of these interviews.

I don't like that Darth Microwhatever is now the face of the playerbase for some reason...the dude just barely got here in the grand scheme of things, and thanks to him and his inability to pay attention to what's happening on his screen, we have stupid things like neon signs and car alarms for Detonate Dead effects.

It's only because he's got thousands of viewers they poached from Diablo-related material.

Truly wish they'd choose someone with 10k+ hours to ask some real questions. They always want to go on these chummy and dumb podcasts to giggle it up with someone that will always toss out softball questions.

Furthermore, they go on these podcasts and make a lot of empty promises and talk themselves in circles trying to explain their ideas.

Another big pain point is that Mark gets a wishlist together from those Q&A sessions based on chat feedback and there are a lot of screeching people in those chats demanding strange things in the last few days before the patch goes live. First it was MF, then it was Sanctum, what else will they clamor for next?

Let's just patch out all the loot, guys.

ah he is one of the afk screen cancer streamers? I didn't suspect that after watching his interviews, he seemed on a level there.

They really need to bring someone decent onboard. They should PM Kripp, him not doing poe full time might actually be beneficial.

Kripp would actually be awesome, he's a cool dude, but I was thinking somebody else that has a high-level understanding of mechanics and builds that would know the right questions to ask to give us insight into design decisions and open some dialogue that isn't so superficial and chummy. Representation seems to skew towards newer players or people that can't play a lot and that's just not healthy for the game in my opinion. It's tearing it down to appease a smaller group of people who contribute a fraction of the playtime in a league's lifecycle. We lost an entire vertical of character scaling because of this paradigm, which was IIQ.

Then we got a knee-jerk reaction nerf for Sanctum a couple of days before league launch. Like, what dude? Who are these people asking this stuff? How often do they even really play the game if they're going to complain about some divine orbs in Sanctum? That this somehow diminishes their gameplay experience. How? I don't understand.

Basically I want a spreadsheet wizard, galaxy-brained POE master asking questions. A build god. A end-game strategy god.
