Riddle me this GGG

Why is multiboxing allowed, but /Player x isn't? I thought this game wasn't p2w but I guess that's just me talking nonsense.

inb4 but you can multibox without isboxer. Yeah sure you can, at like 1/100th the efficiency.

how is multiboxing paying to win?
how do you suggest they stop it?

GGG doesnt sell them the ability to do it
if someone has the ability to multibox the game then they can do it
they patched a while back so that multiboxing doesnt work that easily anymore
but im sure you dont read patch notes

From patch
0.10.4
notes:

"Item drops from monsters are now calculated based on the number of players nearby (13 metres - around six tiles, which is approximately a screen) rather than the number in the instance. The quantity of drops is based on the minimum of the number of players who were around at the start and end of the fight. This means that if you spawn a boss alone before bringing in friends to help (or if the friends leave during the fight) then it will only drop enough items for one person."

This didn't resolve the multi-boxing issue as seen in this threads video:

The way I see it is, if GGG wants to uphold their non-p2w model then they only have two options. Get rid of multiboxing or add a /player x command. It's funny how silent they've been about the whole situation, it really is.

its funny how they give a shit to enforce their on ToS

hey lets use maphack basicly the same like is boxer oooohhhhhh no that is forbidden
why ? both are 3rd party programs.....uhmm yes thats right but uhm maphack is bad hmmkay

fucking joke really if this isnt solved sooner or later i search for another game

multicheater can outbid the little guys and pay insane ratio and why cause they give a shit how much they pay cause they make it back in not time

i dont want to see this game fail but chris makes some weird decisions.... one of those will break his neck one day

Multiboxing is allowed. Using a program like is boxer is not. GGG can't detect multiboxing vs different people on the same IP address.

I don't know where the P2W argument is coming from either, I don't think you know what you are talking about

ISboxer isn't free. And no one is tabbing out constantly to make sure all of their chars are within 13 yards of the main. Anyone that is multiboxing effectively is using a third party program. So for the small price of the ISboxer program, you too can be winning. Hence, pay to win.

That's not pay to win. Pay to win is when you can buy things in game, for real money, to give you an advantage.

By your logic, any game could be considered pay to win.

Some people have enough money to not have to work, so they can spend all of their free time playing the game. P2W

Some people have expensive computers, so they don't die to loading screens and lose 15% exp like some of the people with older computers. P2W

It is pay to win. He's speculating that in order to multicheat effectively they have bought with real money a program to help them achieve that advantage. the rest of your post doesnt make any sense.
