Given the recent summoner influx because of you know who

I wonder if they will ever give you guys a button to make minions swarm a certain group.

Or maybe a curse that like, attracts summons specifically?

I dunno I just, like in diablo 2 past a certain point, your army outnumbers everything on the screen and they followed/stacked on you with enigma with revives. It gave you much more control over your army pretty much.

In this game, every minion seems to meander aimlessly once there is a monster limit over like maybe 10 on the screen.

And it's even worse seeing summons go after pissant enemies when the real threat is taking them out, usually some rare monster.

I hate summons in PoE because the AI is beyond retarded plus they are worthless til late game imo, BUT I do find it odd that you guys are given no way of controlling or at least SAVING your summons.

Got a really good spectre? Oops he was at low hp and rushed at something endlessly. It's dead now.

I just figure you guys need some help in that way. Am I wrong? I'd honestly like to see summoners have more control over their minions as in, giving them some kinda target when you NEED to.

Other than that, I am pretty happy with how minions do what they do.

Minion formation goes out the window once a battle starts in those games though. It's just for movement usually right?

Although I'd like to see minions in the shape of a flying V behind their master.

Good ideas. I've been playing as a summoner since about 1 week after open beta. It was the 2nd toon that I ever created and I really enjoy it. The minions control/formation/AI and targeting does need some improvement though.

Summons target the enemy that you're targetting. If you're using no skill you can simply press shift then cilck your target with an attack.

That's pretty much the same thing you're requesting.
