GGG needs to remove the MacOS Client

" Yes, even with CPU translating layers between Intel > Apple Silicon chip - which takes more resources, compared to a native supported game - Diablo 4 works great via Crossover. Which isn't any hardware issue (your point disproved) only developers are not importing them for the reasons no one knows. GGG has an actual MacOS Client, so I don't understand your 2nd point. If you offer something, you better know that the product is working, otherwise remove it and import it to Mac Silicon, as GGG promised. |

Also, be an adult.
There is a lot of level of "truth"/ "promise" among GGG Chris tier. but since Chris is gone, you can only assume Johnanthan may honor his word. But, the whole 3.26 drama, you will know soon 3.27 will on schedule or not. devs tier. if devs said they will fix the bug, since they are the actual guy to look at the code, this may happen, or may be not due to low priority GGG support staffer tier. Like they promised that legacy unique map converted to base tier bug, will be fixed ASAP. And after a few years, many T16 unique map still revert to T1 the natural tier of that map of that league. " This may be true for the Windows client, but there’s also a Mac client — and they hardly ever fix any bugs. For example, here’s a game-breaking bug: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3587160. The game crashes immediately upon logging in, and the crashes were frequent. A developer even responded to the thread, yet it’s been a year and nothing has been fixed.. On top of that as of right now, the Mac client is broken altogether with the new patch. I didn't see any notes from GGG that they are aware of this issue, other than PS5 networking issues and networking in general. Last edited by holyblazeer#7712 on Jun 15, 2025, 9:42:43 AM

After giving up on GGG staying a decent company I resorted to using another slummy company to play POE. Nividia and G force now on my Mac. It works really well, for a monthly price.
GGG has lost my respect but I still love Poe Last edited by Bennyvibes#2765 on Jun 15, 2025, 11:32:45 AM

" Even Nvidia is scummy with their 100 hour limit per month. |

I also think they should just delete their useless macOS client and use the resources to improve CrossOver support (or any other Wine-based solution of their choosing; game also runs in Whisky, but that got abandoned recently by its creator) or stop advertising macOS support, because currently there really is none.
The game works great on a M4 Max chip in CrossOver (apart from the absolute trashy EU servers, of course...). The macOS client is a joke and has been unusable since I started playing PoE in Necropolis League. |

My most favorite game. Such is the duality of man. |

In the end it is all about the proper resources and how many people are using the device/platform.
As much as they want to support, obviously they might have smaller support staff for MacOS. You claim hardware superiority, but say if only 1% uses it even though GGG says it is supported, support or fixes will simple be much slower. |
