I’m starting to think it’s not on ggg. Just found out google and instacart are having major problems as well. Could just be unrelated.

Is GGG just looking the other way at this point? Still no patch on PS5.
They claim it is there, but in reality only a fraction of players have had it.

Or is this something to do with Sony? I mean, player base is for sure not that big, that it would require a 10 hour slow regional releasing of the patch, even if 100% of the players are waiting to be patched.

Communication is a skill and clearly GGG still severely lacks this. It would be a easy win for them to take actually. Just say that "Hey folks, we know we messed up. We roll out a critical fix and expect Sony to validate the fix soon. But since Sony has different regulations across different markets, there is expected to be differences on when the patch actually goes live. These differences are outside of our control, but typically it is ranging from one hour up to one day. We do our best to make it as short as possible, but realistically EU should look to delay playing for additional 24 hours. " Or something similar. I guess GGG must know all this already.

The lack of content sustenance is beginning to get to me. I've lost substantial mass due to the famine. Yesterday I saw my reflection while drinking from the lake... I'm beginning to look emaciated and gaunt like those creatures that I washed up on the beach with. Still no sign of civilization since I last saw that only rescue search plane. Yet daily I still attend to the S.O.S I made on the shore reading "Where's the patch?", but I'd be lying if I didn't mention its become harder to hold onto hope... Writing is even becoming too draining on my mental fatigue. I fear I might close my eyes unable to fight off the urge to sleep.. and remain vigilant of the walking corpses.. I just hope if I'm never found.. someone finds this message... thats someone knows I was here.......

I just talked to Playstation supoort and they said that they have a rolling release for this patch. So it will randomly hit people with a patch anywhere from now and 6 hours from now. Which is kinda some bull but at least i got an answer
